2008/11/12 didi vs. 1-6 graders

HOSTS: xiaoxiang, wangzhi, william
in this episode the didi's pk'ed 1-6th graders on knowledge
(remind any of you of the american show "are you smarter than a fifth grader?")

first ahman recited some 3-word phrases.
then they introduced the 1-6th graders.
they all won some kind of award except for the 6th grader. xD

1st Q for 1st row: what lunar year is it? (97)
ahman raised his hands up the 'fastest' so he was chosen and got the answer right!
next Q was against the 1st grader: how many angles does their flag have? (12)
then it was the 1st grader's turn to ask a Q: name 2 of spongebob's friends.
ahman wrote down "patrick" and "squidward" but the A was "patrick" & "sandy"

1st Q for 2nd row: (it was a question for the ingredients of this tea)
youzhi answered correctly and then it was his turn vs. 1st grader: in zhuyinfuhao, what comes after chi shi ri? (zi)
1st grader's Q: what color is dingding from teletubbies?
youzhi put down "green" (what i was thinking xD)
A: PURPLE!!!

1st Q for 3rd row: what is the full name of any show channel[v] is broadcasting.
( i swear yoyo raised his hand up first) but it was jiantu (nali5dakang)
vs. 1st grader: 7+3x5=? (22) he won 1st grader wrote 42 xD
xiaoxiang was like,"hongge (1st grader nickname) is tired! he jus wants to get over it!!!" (hahaha)
vs. 2nd grader: 25+75+155=? (255)
2nd grader's Q: when's zhongshan's birthday? (there's this memorial temple in taiwan in honor of him) he got it wrong!

another Q for 1st row: name a celebrity couple that got married this year. first was lianmien but he only got one of the names, then xiaole (he didn't know till after liangmien) answered correctly!
vs. 1st grader: how many zhuyinfuhao are there? (27)
nooo he was just one away! so, he didn't pass

another Q for 2nd row: how many #'s are in your social security # (lol. doesn't make sense but it's okay, i think that's the question) wanzhi got it.
vs. 1st grader: to understand a person you
a. by what they look like
b. listen to what other people say about them
c. by asking him/her out (date) *******
d. by what they wear
he chose... B= wrong answer= fail

another Q for 3rd row: name a typhoon that hit taiwan. (xing le ke) (dunno which one that is xD) dada=correct! (if you guys want me to post up the Q's i can, it's just i think it'll take forever to type up all 11 of them ^^")
dada was the only one that got to the 6th grader!!!
how very smart. but it was a fraction problem, and he got it wrong
(so close yet so far -sigh-)

after that they just asked the children to pick a didi

ABC was just sitting in the back, blending into the background.
then the 6th grader chose him! xD
xiaoxiang was like, " oh you're so smart! purposely choosing a didi whose chinese isn't so well." (lol)
the question was what is the LCD and GCF of 170 and 255.
of course ABC's couldn't understand it (even though i did, and my chinese is like.. worse than his xD) and they had ICE translate it, and he was like." i think it's LCD and GCF."
so ABC didn't have enought time to think and wrote 'sorry' on the board. and failed.

what's ironic is that the next question was for wanzhi vs. 6th grader was: what is 'xiao xue' in english. (elementary) but wanzhi wrote: small school.

next question was for ahpang and the 5th grader. i had no idea what it was.. but it had something to do w/ the LCD(?) of 6, 15, 24 times 3.. (i think that's what it was.. correct my if i'm wrong xD)

xiaobang vs. 5th
first was a math problem pretty easy (i solved it)
then it was a manderin problem where you he tells you the word you have to write the right one ('cause you know one word can have many ways to write it)

I dont understand the question ABC got XD poor him....

I'm sorry to say, but some of you chinese spelling does not make sense at all.... XD haha.
Well, I was going to watch this one, but Tutor and Final was in the way XD
Well, it's really okay if ABC lose because his Chinese is not good! I am starting to not get it why he is able to be in it when his Chinese sucks so much?! It's such a bad fun when playing games with him. I'm telling the truth, not to be offensive.... I think he should learn his Chinese with faster speed because when it comes to Kick Out competition he is totally dead meat then...

Oh, and there was one equation answer that you typed wrong haha.
23+75+155 does not equal to 255... XD unless you mistyped 25 to 23 or mistyped 253 to 255 XD
Well that is just some minor mistakes. I know it's hard to do math without a calculator sometimes, but ya know, we're in high school now haha.
Well it's ok really. I just thought that some things should be rectified so we won't look somewhat silly for not able to type things right or calculate equations correctly XD

I think he know that he need to learn chinese quicker too... but I actually dont understand how he can learn and do so many things at the same time...
